Police in California continue to search for an 8-year-old boy who has not been seen in two weeks — and the boy’s parents are now under arrest. According to a statement from Corona police, investigators contacted relatives of the boy, Noah McIntosh, but none have information on his whereabouts. Police first learned Noah was missing Tuesday evening, after receiving a call from his mother, Jillian Godfrey. Godfrey, 36, allegedly told police she did not know where her son was, prompting officers to contact Noah’s father, Bryce McIntosh. According to police, McIntosh, 32, allegedly didn’t respond to the numerous attempts officers made to contact him. A search warrant obtained for McIntosh’s apartment was executed Wednesday, and police found no sign of Noah. But according to the statement, police found evidence that led to the arrests of both parents. The statement does not specify what that evidence was. • Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? McIntosh and Godfrey were both arrested on suspicion of child abuse. Online records indicate both remain in custody on unspecified amounts of bail. It was unclear if either defendant has been charged, and it was unclear if either had retained a lawyer who could comment. Police are asking for the public assistance in their search for Noah, and asks anyone who may have seen the boy within the past two weeks to contact Senior Detective Mario Hernandez at 951-279-3659 or Mario.Hernandez@CoronaCA.gov.
